Carys and Lyndsey are best friends from growing up together in Edinburgh. Carys now lives in Canada with her husband Conor and their daughter Isla.

Lyndsey has banned her from making any speeches as she has way too many stories about Lyndsey's past.

Carys is a very successful law professor in Toronto and doesn't come back to Scotland anything like often enough.

Zoe

Zoe is Lyndsey's niece (daughter of her sister Sharon). She lives in Edinburgh, is 9 years old (10 by the time of the wedding) and is the youngest of three. She is a big fan of animals, especially her dog toffee, she also loves dancing and anything that is pink or purple.

Bethan

Beth is Lyndseys other niece (daughter of her brother Chris). Beth lives in Birmingham and is a keen photographer, a talent she hopes to pursue at university. She also likes music and is very much looking forward to T in the Park this year. She reckons she is very good at Wii Mario Cart Racing but really is just lucky.

Best Man

Sam is Alex's brother and 'best man', his speech is sure to be one of the highlights of the weekend.

If Anna's wedding is anything to go by you can expect to find him near the bar.

Sam lives in London and works in the television industry. His claim to fame is that he was runner up Mr Dalmally 1998. And since he also won first prize for his flower arranging at the Dalmally show we're hoping he'll do all the flowers.

Dr Kenny MacDougall and Alex have been friends since primary school. Kenny is married to Fiona and mostly lives in Glasgow where he works as an engineer of some kind.

Duncan (Doch) MacDougall is a long time friend/shinty team mate/drinking buddy of Alex's and is Kenny's little brother. Doch lives and works in Dalmally as a ~~digger driver~~ civil engineer.

rahul

Rahul Noble-Singh has been a friend of Alex's since before either can remember. Rahul lives and works in India but has roots in Cairndow, Argyll.
